Capitol World Class Hotel Milan - Frequently Asked Questions

At what time are the rooms available?
Check-in time is 2 pm but whenever the room should be ready, we will accommodate you from 10 am
At what time is check-out time?
We kindly ask our guests to vacate their rooms before 12 pm. If for some reason this is not possible, we ask that you please inform the front desk and ask availability for a late check-out.
May I leave my luggage at the hotel?
Luggage may be left in the baggage deposit free of charge until you the time you pick it up.
Until what time is dinner served?
Our restaurant serves dinner until 11 pm.
What time is breakfast served?
Our croissants are taken out of the oven and our buffet is ready for your enjoyment from 7 to 10:30 am.
Where can I park my car?
The hotel has an on-site underground garage. When you make your room reservation, simply request that a parking place be held for you.
What is your cancellation policy?
There is no penalty if the reservation is cancelled by 1 p.m. the day before your arrival.
Is there a possibility to connect to the Internet?
Even far from home or office you can access the Internet during your stay at Capitol hotel. Every room is equipped with a micro-computer (Microsoft operating system) and a flat Lcd-TV; through a wireless keyboard you can easily activate your fast connection to surf the web or check your webmail account, including the view of attachments to your messages (no save allowed) in the most popular formats as Microsoft Office or Pdf. You can even ask concierge to print-out for you.
If you are travelling with your laptop you can use the Wi-Fi connection provided by SWISSCOM available in every single room and common area of the hotel. Modem ports are also available.
Is there shuttle service to and from the airport?
Although we don't offer hotel shuttle service, on request, we can provide limousine or minivan service for excursions or just for getting around the area. Keep in mind that the fastest and most economical way of getting to the city from Malpensa Airport is the train shuttle service.
Trains depart directly from the airport terminal and arrive at Piazza Cadorna in about 30 minutes. The hotel is 1000 meters (¾ mile) from the Piazza. (a 5-minute taxi ride or 2 stops on the subway)

May I request laundry service?
We have very dependable and efficient laundry, ironing and dry-cleaning service available. If items to be serviced are picked up before 10 a.m., they will be return the same evening.
Do you have rooms without carpeting?
Some rooms have anti-allergic features and hardwood flooring.
Have you thought of those that may have problems walking?
Our hotel has no architectural problems for these types of guests and is accessible for those with disabilities.
What are the safety requirements that the hotel follows?
The hotel was constructed following the current standard regulations for fire prevention and is in possession of the relative certifications.
All common areas of the hotel and each room are equipped with a fire sensor and fireproof doors.
Guest rooms can only be accessed with the use a microchip badge, which not only ensures that there are no intrusions when the guest is in the room but also registers every accessed entry.
All electricity has been installed with the maximum protection features and within regulations of the law.
Each individual space and every room is equipped with emergency lights; the lighting system is operated electronically to guarantee the highest level of comfort.
Calls for emergency assistance can be made from both the nightstand and the bathroom in every guest room.
All water for sanitary use is purified; all air is constantly refreshed through the use of an air purification system; individual electronically regulated thermostats control the room climate.
